sand.

things have a beginning and they have an end. thats how life goes. nothing lasts forever, even if we try to convince our selves that somethings do. it's like sand. it stays at one place for a while until it's blown away by the wind. which direction is not sure, maybe it's blown into the sea or maybe further up towards land. this compares to two things in life. nothing lasts forever and nothing is for sure. so we have to make the best of everything that comes our way and enjoy the good moments. who knows when the wind will blow them away?

The colours are vivid. They speak of happiness, love, truth. The rays fly through the sky, as if they want to stay a little longer. As if they don’t want to sink into the ocean. As if they don’t want to wait until the next day to smile at the earth again. They want to stay. To stay and shine. Shine in bright and beautiful colours. How I wish they could stay. To show me their beautiful colours a little longer. how I wish they would. but slowly the light fades away. brightness turns into darkness. Vividness is replaced by black. a beginning comes to an end. Day becomes night.
